I’ve teamed up with rescues and shelters in the Triad to help fosters with a variety of training needs.

I want to help you, too.

I’m Katie, owner and operator of Barks n Bounds. Find my bio here. My background is rooted in shelters- I am very familiar with the range of struggles that can accompany your foster dogs. The time, energy, and work you do with these dogs is so valuable; but that doesn't mean you signed up to be a behaviorist! This is where I come in.

Discounts on training for rescue dogs
Each consult receives a professional evaluation. Communication is maintained with board members if applicable.
Continued training with an established trainer is offered to adopters at an accessible price
In home sessions where I come to the location (No driving required for fosters )
Adoption is the goal! Due to the nature of fostering, no lengthy packages are required
An added source of exposure for adoptability! I’ll share the dogs and their improvements both on socials and in person at local events

Some organizations focus on prevention- spay and neuter. Some exist as a placeholder while people find their footing in life again. Others take on last chance cases - even more serve as resources for dogs to heal and find their families. There are many more and there may be differences, but all of us are bound together with one foundation in mind- We Do This For The Dogs.
